Statutory Warranty

The statutory warranty applies to all products you purchase from ANGELCAB – for strollers as well as for accessories and spare parts. If a product is defective upon delivery, you are entitled to have the defect rectified free of charge for at least two years. The EU notice summarizes your rights.

In addition, we grant a 7-year manufacturer’s guarantee on our strollers. This applies alongside the statutory warranty and does not limit your legal rights.

What does statutory warranty mean?

As the seller, we are liable for ensuring that the goods are free of defects at the time of handover to you, meaning they are of the agreed quality and meet reasonable expectations. The warranty applies automatically and free of charge to every purchase – you do not need to do anything.

How long is the statutory warranty valid?

The warranty is valid for two years from delivery. If a defect appears within the first year after delivery, it is presumed that it already existed at the time of delivery – you do not have to prove it then.

In some EU countries, the period may be longer under national law.

What rights do I have in the event of a defect?

Repair or replacement: Initially, you can choose whether the goods are repaired or replaced – free of charge, including transport, labor, and material costs.
Price reduction or cancellation: If the repair or replacement fails, is not carried out within a reasonable time, or causes significant inconvenience to you, you can reduce the price or – in the case of a non-minor defect – cancel the purchase.
Damages: Under certain circumstances, there may also be a claim for damages.

How do I report a defect?

Please write to us at service@angelcab.de with your order number, a short description, and, if possible, photos or a video. We will get in touch and organize a repair, spare part, or exchange.

If you purchased from one of our partner retailers, they are your point of contact for the warranty as the seller.

Does the warranty also apply to accessories and spare parts?

Yes. The statutory two-year warranty applies to all products – strollers, accessories, and spare parts.

What is the difference to the 7-year guarantee?

The warranty is required by law, applies for two years to all products, and covers defects that existed at the time of delivery.

The guarantee is a voluntary promise from ANGELCAB as the manufacturer: our strollers remain fully functional for seven years when used as intended. It is marked with the EU guarantee label “GARAN”.

What is not covered by the warranty?

The warranty covers defects that were already present at the time of delivery. The following are not covered, for example:

normal signs of use and wear and tear;
damage caused by improper use or cleaning;
damage caused by accidents or external influences;
damage caused by failure to observe the operating instructions.
